For the show ‘Shifting grounds – a garden party’ every designer interpreted the brief ‘Make a lantern for a small electric light’
For this heArthur made ‘L is for Lantern’. It was inspired by his ‘L is for Love’ beads, brooches and vases. He fused three semi-L shaped pieces together, forming a dome. This is put on a piece of vintage mirror. The glass itself has a bit of internal iridescent layer. Hopefully that will give a bit of extra sparkle!
